Cinderella pulled back the curtains letting the sun’s light shine brightly into the castle. Today was Easter. The princess loved Easter - the beautiful colors, the delicious deserts, and of course the Annual Royal Easter Egg Hunt. The castle staff was hard at work carefully hiding each and every egg that Cinderella, Charming, and the mice had colored. Cinderella had just put the finishing touches on everyone’s Easter baskets, then proceeded up the staircase to get dressed. She had to hurry. Everyone would be arriving shortly and she hadn’t a clue what she was wearing. Thankfully, Perla and Mary were waiting in Cinderella’s room. “Guys, which dress should I wear for the Easter Egg Hunt? This yellow one or the lavender one?” She asked holding the dresses up beside each other. Both Perla and Mary agreed. “Lavender it is!” said the princess with a smile. She hurried and got herself ready and just in time. The doorbell rang. “Our first guests are here!” she exclaimed.
“That sounds absolutely lovely!” exclaimed Cinderella. “Balls really are wonderful, aren’t they? The music, the dancing…. oh, everything is just, just absolutely, absolutely…perfect.” Said the princess swaying back and forth as she recalled her first ball.
